Ecwid integration for sign and print shops

If you sell signs, banners or decals in an Ecwid store, nobody should be retyping those orders into production. PrinterFlo turns each paid Ecwid order into a sales order: the customer, a line for each item with the options they picked and any artwork they uploaded, shipping, discounts, tax and the payment. It's one way and read-only: PrinterFlo reads your orders and store name and changes nothing in your store. The app is in review for the Ecwid App Market now; shops can install it once Ecwid approves the listing.

What the Ecwid integration does

How it works

  1. 1

    Install PrinterFlo in Ecwid

Once Ecwid approves the listing: open the App Market in your Ecwid admin, find PrinterFlo and press Install. Ecwid asks you to approve read access to your orders and store name.

  2. 2

    Confirm your store in PrinterFlo

Sign in to PrinterFlo (or start a free trial). Settings → Ecwid shows the store you installed from; press Finish connecting Ecwid. Your paid orders from the last 30 days come in straight away.

  3. 3

    Produce from PrinterFlo

New paid orders arrive within seconds. Review them, send proofs and move them across your production board as usual.

Best for

Sign, print and wide-format shops that sell online through an Ecwid store and run production in PrinterFlo.

Ecwid integration — FAQ

Does PrinterFlo integrate with Ecwid?

Yes. Install PrinterFlo from the Ecwid App Market and every paid order in your store arrives in PrinterFlo as a sales order, with its customer, items, options and artwork. The app is in review for the App Market now, and shops can install it once Ecwid approves the listing.

What exactly syncs?

Paid orders, one way, from Ecwid into PrinterFlo: the buyer's name, email, phone, company and addresses; each item with its quantity, price, chosen options and uploaded files; shipping and handling; the order discount; the tax Ecwid charged; and the payment. PrinterFlo writes nothing back to your store.

What permissions does it ask for?

Read access to your orders and to your store profile (its name and currency). No access to your products, customers list, settings or payments setup, and no write access to anything.

What happens to orders that aren't paid yet?

They stay out. An order waiting for payment, or a checkout that wasn't finished, comes in once Ecwid marks it paid.

What if an order is refunded, cancelled or deleted in Ecwid?

The order in PrinterFlo follows it: refunds are recorded against it, and a cancelled order is cancelled when nothing is left paid or invoiced on it. If money or an invoice is still on it, PrinterFlo leaves the order alone and adds a note so you can settle it.

Are orders from before I installed brought in?

Your paid orders from the last 30 days are imported when you connect (up to 25, newest first), and you can run that import again from Settings → Ecwid. Older orders aren't touched.

How do I disconnect, and what happens to my data?

Remove PrinterFlo from your Ecwid admin, or press Disconnect Ecwid on PrinterFlo's Ecwid settings page. Removing the app deletes the store connection and its access from PrinterFlo automatically. Orders already created stay in PrinterFlo as your shop's records.
