Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This policy explains what information PrinterFlo collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our application, and the payments we help you take through Stripe.
PrinterFlo ("PrinterFlo", "we", "us", or "our") provides management software for print and sign shops. This policy applies to printerflo.com, the PrinterFlo application at app.printerflo.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — your name, email address, shop name, and login credentials when you create an account or request access.
- Shop and customer data you enter — quotes, orders, products, materials, pricing, artwork and files, notes, and the contact details of your own customers that you add to run your shop.
- Communications — messages you send us for support, feedback, or sales enquiries.
Payment information
When you connect a Stripe account and take deposits or payments, that transaction is processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your customers' card details directly under its own PCI-compliant systems. PrinterFlo does not store full card numbers. We receive limited, non-sensitive data such as payment status, amount, and a transaction reference so we can match a payment to the right order. Your payouts go to your own connected Stripe account.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used.
AI tool inputs
Some free tools (such as the sign design generator) send the text you enter to an AI provider to produce a result. Don't include sensitive personal information in those prompts. See our subprocessors below.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Process the deposits and payments you choose to collect.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Send service-related messages, and — where permitted — occasional product updates you can opt out of.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers (subprocessors) — trusted companies that help us run the Service under confidentiality obligations, including: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (website and function hosting), and Anthropic (AI features). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PrinterFlo, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction — for example, when you connect a third-party service like Stripe.
Payments and Stripe
PrinterFlo uses Stripe Connect. Your shop connects its own Stripe account, and Stripe acts as the payment processor and data controller for the payment itself. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own customers' data that you process through your shop.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion as described below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. PrinterFlo is built around data ownership: you can export your shop's data, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
International data transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites we don't control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide additional notice where appropriate.
