Take a card deposit on a quote
Get a deposit paid by card before you buy the materials or start the job.
Set it up once
- Connect Stripe under Settings → Integrations. Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
- Under Settings → Workflow & automations, find When a customer approves a quote. Turn it on, tick Request a deposit of and set the percent you want, say 50%.
- If you like, tick Turn the quote into an order and pick once the deposit is paid: the quote becomes an order on your board when the deposit comes in.
Then, on every quote
- Send the quote as usual.
- When your customer approves it, PrinterFlo sets the deposit and emails them a pay link.
- They pay by card on their phone, with no login. The payment lands on the order, marked Stripe, with a receipt.
Took the deposit at the counter?
Record the payment on the order. It shows there, and the balance updates.
