What is die cut?
A die cut goes through both the material and its backing, producing an individually cut-out piece — the opposite of a kiss cut, which leaves the backing intact.
In stickers, 'die cut' means the sticker's edge follows the design's shape all the way through the liner, so each one is its own object. In broader shop use the term covers anything cut fully through — coroplast shapes on the CNC, gasket-style parts, custom-shaped rigid signs.
When a customer orders 'die cut stickers' they usually mean the shape, not the production method — check whether they want singles (true die cut) or sheets they peel themselves (kiss cut on a sheet). The two are priced and packed differently, and assuming wrong turns into a remake.
